For gas measurement, the gas flow direction in vertical pipelines is not limited (it is recommended to flow from bottom to top when containing a small amount of liquid); for liquid measurement, the liquid must flow from bottom to top in vertical pipelines to ensure the pipe is full of medium.

3. Main Functions

3.1 Flow Measurement and Cumulative Statistics

  • Real-Time Measurement: Based on the Karman vortex street principle, calculates flow velocity and flow by detecting the vortex separation frequency, displaying real-time core parameters such as instantaneous flow, flow velocity, pressure, and temperature. The damping time is adjustable from 0.1~30.0 seconds, ensuring high data stability.
  • Cumulative Statistics: Automatically counts positive cumulative flow and total cumulative flow, supporting total flow reset and preset functions. The total flow unit can be L, m³, Nm³, USG, Kg, t, etc., meeting measurement traceability needs.

3.2 Temperature-Pressure Compensation and Working Condition Conversion

  • For gas media, it can collect working condition parameters through temperature and pressure sensors, automatically convert to standard flow (Nm³/h), and support the setting of standard compression factor and working condition compression factor, ensuring measurement accuracy under different working conditions.
  • For superheated steam measurement, the density value can be queried according to pressure and temperature, and the volume flow and mass flow can be converted through formulas, adapting to industrial steam measurement scenarios.

3.3 Alarm and Output Control

  • Alarm Function: Supports high alarm (1.00%~99.00% of full scale) and low alarm (0.00%~99.00% of full scale) settings. When the flow exceeds the threshold, the alarm contact closes to output a signal, promptly warning of abnormal working conditions.
  • Output Control: The pulse output equivalent can be set (units: L/P, USG/P, Kg/P, etc.), and the pulse width is adjustable from 0~1000ms (duty cycle 1:1 when 0ms); the maximum frequency output is 100.0~5000.0Hz, outputting in proportion to the instantaneous flow and full scale, adapting to flow control scenarios.

3.4 Calibration and Correction Functions

  • Current Calibration: Supports 4mA zero-point calibration (range 3.0~5.0mA) and 20mA full-scale calibration (range 19.0~21.0mA). Automatic calibration is completed by inputting the measured value of the multimeter, ensuring the accuracy of current output.
  • Temperature and Pressure Calibration: The measurement loop can be calibrated through measured resistance values or standard temperature and pressure values, ensuring the accuracy of temperature-pressure compensation data.
  • Meter Coefficient Setting: Supports modifying the meter coefficient K after actual flow detection. The number of pulses output per cubic meter can be accurately adjusted to optimize measurement accuracy.

3.5 Data Communication and Storage

  • Data Transmission: Through the RS485 interface, remote reading of instantaneous flow, total flow, temperature, pressure and other parameters (corresponding to register addresses 0x01~0x24) is supported, with continuous address reading, facilitating centralized data management.
  • Parameter Storage: Factory parameters and user-set parameters are not lost after power failure, supporting factory reset to ensure stable operation of the equipment.
